Whitmore Bight Wildlife Management Area

This no motor zone spans the prop-scarred, shallow water habitat across the shoreline of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Totaling 2.72 square miles in size, this zone is designed to decrease disturbance to the benthic community, including hard-bottom habitat that supports juvenile lobster and various reef and game fish.
