Marquesa Turtle Wildlife Management Area

The Marquesa Turtle Wildlife Management Area is an idle speed no wake area approximately 6.37 square miles in size, just west of the Marquesas Keys in the Key West National Wildlife Refuge in water ranging from 4 to 16 feet deep. Designed to decrease disturbance to ESA-listed green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) on a rare, internationally-important foraging ground.
